Dissolve the yeast in the ½ cup water. In a large
bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, 2 cups water and
dissolved yeast. Cover mixture and let set
overnight.

IN THE MORNING-
Beat the egg in 1-cup hot water and add the
baking soda and oil. Mix well with yeast
mixture. Batter will be very thin and watery.
Bake on a lightly greased frying pan over
medium low heat. Pour about ½ cup of batter
into pan, holding at an angle. Move pan in a
circular motion until it covers the entire pan.
Set back onto burner. When edges start to curl
and there are tiny holes, flip to other side.
Should be golden brown. Blinna’s will be very
porous and thin. You can also roll sausages up
in them!
