Melt the butter in a 12 inch cast iron skillet set over medium
high heat. Add mushrooms, salt, and pepper and cook
occasionally for 2 minutes or until mushrooms start giving up
their water. approximately 5 minutes. Add garlic, nutmeg and
cook an additional few minutes. Sprinkle flour over mixture and
stir to combine cook for a minute. Add broth and simmer an
additional minute. Add half and half and cook until mixture
thickens approximately 6-8 minutes
