Combine the 5 ingredients, apricot preserve, cornstarch, orange peel and juice and cinnamon and heat. Spread over the ham. Add cloves if you like that taste.
Make the sauce by mixing well the brown sugar, vinegar and dry mustard. Pour over the ham loaf. Bake at 300° for 1=11/2 hours.
