1 tsp. ground turmeric
|

2 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
|

2 tsp. fish paste
|

.5 oz shrimp powder
|

2 tsp. fish sauce

1T crispy fried garlic
|

1/4 c crispy fried onion

salt to taste

Instructions |
|
|
In heavy walled, rimmed non-stick fry pan or wok,
heat oil over medium high heat. Add turmeric,
cayenne, fish paste and shrimp powder.

Cook well, until golden and thick and paste
consistency begins to form, stirring regularly, for
5 min.
|
|
|
Add fish sauce and continue to cook, stirring
regularly for 5 min.
|
|
|
Turn off heat and add crispy fried garlic and
onion. Mix well. Season with salt and allow to
cool.
