Blanch asparagus. Bring large pot of water to a
boil, salt water and place asparagus in boiling
water for 1 minute. Remove and place in ice
water.
In large saute pan heat oil and butter over medium
heat. Add garlic and saute stirring continuously
20 seconds, the add asparagus and saute turning
frequently 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in lemon zest. Season
with salt & pepper. Garnish with lemon slices if
desired.
