Combine sugar,evap milk butter and salt in saucepan and bring to full rolling boil over moderate heat, stirring CONSTANTLY. boil 6 minutes over mod heat, stir occasionally. Remove, stir in the marshmallows, nuts and vanilla. Stir until the marshmallows melt. Should be about 3 cups of mixture. Pour 1/2 of total mix into a separate container. Pour milk chips in one of the pans and the semi sweet in the other. Stir and melt the chips in the hot marshmallow mixture. Butter a 9 in sq pan and place the dark mix on the bottom and spread out...butter your hands to move it around, and then put the milk chips mix on top and spread. Chill
