1 granny smith apple, cored and cut into 1/2 in. dic
1 lemon unpeeled, cut into 1/2 in dice
1/2 cup sugar
3 bottles Burgundy wine (750 ml bottles)
Can use a hearty box wine like Taylor Burgundy
Instructions
Divde the diced orange, apple, lemon and the sugar between 2 pitchers. Add the wine, dividing it evenly between the two pitchers. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
Refrigerate well before serving.

Suggestions
The whole diced fruit, pith and peel and all, intensifies flavor.
