Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in
microwave until caramels are melted. Set aside.
Combine cake mix, melted margarine, 1/3 cup
evaporated milk and nuts. Stir until dough holds
together. Press half the mixture into greased and
floured 13x9 pan. Bake 350 degrees for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips over
baked crust, then pour on melted caramel mixture.
Crumble reserved doug over caramel layer. Bake for
additional 15 to 18 minutes. Cool and cut into
squares. Makes 40 bars.
