Blend together butter, vanilla, brown sugar and
beaten egg until creamed. Mix together flour,
salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add into
sugar mixture and blend. Stir in sour cream, nuts
and dates.
Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet and back at 400
degrees for 10 minutes.
Frosting - blend together 1/4 cup browned sugar,
powdered sugar, add in a litte hot water until you
reach the right consistency. Frost cooled cookies.
