     Beef Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
1 Pound Ground Beef, or Cubed Beef
1 Cup Onion, chopped
1 Cup Potatoes, diced
1 Cup Cabbage, shredded
1 Cup Carrots, sliced
1 Cup Celery, sliced
1 1/4 Cup Barley
2 Cans Tomatoes
1 Bay Leaf
 
3 Teaspoons Salt
Beef Bouillon and Beef Broth, to taste
3 Cups Water

Instructions
Brown onions with beef until pink is gone. Drain off excess grease.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover. Lower the heat and simmer for about 1 hour.
Makes 9 cups.
