Make paste with cold water, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Pour into boiling water. Mix well. Cook 3 minutes or until thick. Add jello and continue cooking for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add lemon juice. Just before serving, slice peaches in bowl. Carefully stir in glaze to coat each slice. spoon into pie shell. Cover with whipped cream and serve immediately. Glaze may be stored for several days in refrigerator.
