Combine sugar and water in large pot. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Cool. Add pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orange juice. Pour into rectangular pan (I prefer a disposable aluminum pan). Freeze until firm- at least overnight. To serve- Remove from freezer 30-45 minutes before serving. Cut into squares, mash slush mixture in large plastic or metal bowl (do not use glass- it could crack). Add soda (about 3-4 cans for half the mixture).
