SUBSTUTIONS-
cabbage and carrots for slaw mix.
pork for turkey, chicken, or salad shrimp.
1. Sauté pork in non-stick skillet over med. heat 2-3 min.
2. Add garlic, chestnuts, sugar, salt, pepper sauté 2-3 min.
3. Add cabbage and carrots sauté 5 min. set aside
Dust work place with corn starch.
Put egg in bowl and whisk.
place wrappers on corn starch to work, add 1-2 tblsp. of pork filling mixture. start rolling by wrapping the side toward the middle then roll and seal with a dot of egg wash (use like a glue).
Fill deep fryer with oil , heat to 300.
Line baking sheet with paper towels.
Add 2-3 egg rolls to oil avoid overcrowding.
Fry 2-3 min. turning once to brown completely.
Remove from oil to baking sheet. keep warm.
