Cook bacon until almost crispy. Leave 2 T bacon grease in pan and add 1 T butter. Sauté yams and Brussel sprouts 5 minutes. Add onions and sauté until caramelized. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and sauté 8 minutes.
Pour into serving dish. Drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve.
