1 small onion, minced
|

.25 cup butter or margarine
|

1.5 cup corn muffin mix (or one Jiffy mix)

1 egg, beaten
|
|
.33 cup milk
|
|
1 can cream style corn
|
|
2 drops of Tabasco
|
|
1 cup sour cream
|
|
.25 teaspoon salt
|
|
|

.25 teaspoon dill weed
|
|
1 cup grated dheese
|

Instructions |
|
|
Saute onions in butter and set aside.
Combine muffin mix, egg, milk, corn and Tabasco
and place in greased 8 inch square pan.

Mix in saucepan with sauteed onions and butter,
sour cream, salt, dill, .50 cup cheese.
Spread over corn batter, sprinkle with remaining
cheese.

|
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes.
|
|
|
For an alternate recipe use creamed mushrooms
instead of creamed corn, oregano and thyme instead
of dill and raclette cheese.
