Ingredients
Meatloaf 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
3/4 cup breadcrumbs, plain
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup half and half
3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. allspice
sour cream mushroom Sauce
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1 tbls. butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups chicken broth
1-8 oz. carton sour cream
2 tsp. dill weed, dried
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Meatloaf
Preheat oven to 350
In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients well
but don't over work meat
Shape into inch loaf
Put onto baking sheet and bake for 1 hour
Sour Cream and Mushroom Sauce
In large skillet, saute mushrooms in 1 tbls.
butter until tender
Remove and set aside
Melt 1/4 cup butter in skillet over low heat
Add flour and stir until smooth
Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly
Gradually whisk in chicken broth and cook over
medium heat, whisking until thick and bubbly
Remove form heat
Stir in sour cream, mushrooms, dill weed, salt
and pepper
