6 golden delicious apples
|

1/4 cup honey
|
|
1/2 cup chopped pecans
|
|
juice and zest from 1 lime
|
|
3/4 cups flour
|
|
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
|

3 Tbsp unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
|

ice cream

Instructions |
|
|
Preheat oven to 350. Peel, core, halve, and
slice into 1/4 inch slices the apples. Combine
with honey, pecans, line zest and juice. Set
aside.

In a bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Cut in
butter until crumbly and sprinkle over apples.
|
|
|
Bake until apples are tender and topping is
golden brown, about 45 minutes. Remove and let
sit, covered, for 10 minutes. Serve warm, with
ice cream.
