1 3-4 pound boneless, beef chuck roast
|

1 can coca-cola
|
|
1 pkg. onion soup mix
|
|
sliced potatoes, carrots, optional
|

salt, pepper
|

Instructions |
|
|
Sear roast in skillet on both sides to brown. Place in roaster, or dutch oven.
|
|
|
Sprinkle salt, pepper, and onion soup mix on top. Lay sliced veggies around roast on bottom of pan.

|
Pour contents of one Coke on top of roast.
|
|
|
Cook in 350 degree oven for 2-3 hours, or slower, at 250 for 3-4 hours.
