Cashew Butterscotch Sundaes
½ c packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
¾ cup water
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
¼ cup broken cashew nuts
Vanilla IceCream
In 1-quart saucepan, stir together brown sugar and cornstarch. Add water. Cook and stir over medium-high heat till thickened and bubbly, about 5 minutes. Stir in butter or margarine till melted. Add nuts. Serve warm over vanilla ice cream. Makes about 1 cup sauce.
