Preheat oven to 400°F. In large bowl stir together egg, breadcrumbs, onion, seasoning and salt. Add ground beef; mix well.
Pat ground beef into 6x8-inch rectangle on sheet of waxed paper. Cut meat into 1-inch cubes. Roll each cube into a ball. Place on ungreased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes or until done (170°F).
Meanwhile, in large saucepan stir together sauce and pineapple. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 3 to 5 minutes or until heated through. Gently stir warm meatballs into sauce mixture. Garnish with green onion, if desired.
