One 14-1/2-oz. can french-cut green beans, drained
One 10-3/4-oz. can condensed cream of celery soup
One 8-oz. can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
One 2-oz. jar sliced pimento, drained
3 TBS. sliced almonds
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare rice mix according to package
directions.
Meanwhile, in an extra-large bowl, combine chicken, green beans,
soup, water chestnuts, onion, mayonnaise, pimento, almonds, and lemon
juice. Stir in cooked rice mixture. Spoon into an ungreased 3-quart
rectangular baking dish.
Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake,
uncovered, about about 5 minutes more or until heated through and
cheese is melted.
