1/2 cup oil
|

1/4 cup vinegar
|
|
1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
|

1 Tbl chopped red onion
|
|
2 tsp grated gingerroot
|
|
3/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
|

1 pound uncooked shrimp
|
|
5-12in bamboo skewers
|

Instructions |

|
In a blender, combine all ingredients, except shrimp. process until blended.
|

|
Place shrimp in a resealable plastic bag. Pour oil mixture over shrimp and let stand at room temperature for 15minutes.
|

|
Soak skewers in water while shrimp is marinating. Drain shrimp, discard marinade, thread shrimp on skewers and put on cookie sheet.
|
|
|
Broil 6inches from heat for 3-5 minutes, turning once. To serve cut each skewer into 3 pieces.
