Peel and chop apple. Combine in a small saucepan with lemon juice, sugar, and water; cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, or until apple softens. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Serve up half the compote for breakfast now, topped with 2 tbsp. raisins, 2 tbsp. almonds, and half the carton of yogurt. Refrigerate the rest of the compote; eat it later in the week, topped with another 2 tbsp each raisins and almonds, and the rest of the carton of yogurt.
