Use a cheese grater to grate the potatoes into thin strands.

Make little piles (one handful= a pile) of potatoe strands and add a pinch of salt,pepper and some garlic powder to taste.

Drizzle olive oil in a sauce pan and put on high. When the oil is hot ( to check if oil is hot enough put one strand of potaoe in the oil. If the peice sizzles the oil is raedy) put 1 or 2 piles in the sauce pan (Depends how big the pan is), and press each down flat.

|
When the bottom is browned, flip over and cook the other side. Top with sour cream and scallions or eat plain.
