1/2 loaf bakery white bread, sliced 1/2 inch thick
1 large garlic clove
2 tablespoons olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Remove the crust from the bread and cut into 1/2 inch cubes and crush the garlic with the side of a large chef's knife and discard the
peel
In a medium sauté pan, heat the oil over medium heat and add the
garlic and cook for about 1 minute until the garlic browns and then
throw out the garlic
Then add the bread cubes, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and cook
over medium heat and toss occasionally until brown on all sides
