Melt the butter in a heavy pot. Whisk in flour, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce well.
Stir in beer and cream. Stir in shredded cheese a handful at a time until all combined.
DO NOT let the sauce boil, or it will become grainy. Just keep it hot.
Pour sauce over toast and serve.
