1 medium head cabbage, sliced or chopped

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
|

1/2 lb. sausage
|

1 small onion, chopped

1/4 c. green pepper, chopped

1 tsp. chili powder
|

1/4 tsp. garlic powder
|
|
1/2 tsp. salt
|
|
1/8 tsp. pepper
|

2/3 c. long-cooking rice, UNCOOKED
|

2 (10 3/4oz.) cans cream of tomato soup
|
|
2 cans water
|
|
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
|
|

Instructions |

|
Lightly oil 13x9 baking dish. DO NOT use a metal pan. Layer cabbage on bottom of pan.

Brown ground beef, sausage, onion and green pepper. Drain oil. Add seasonings and rice to meat mixture; spread over cabbage.
|
|
|
Mix together soup, water and brown sugar; pour over other ingredients. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
