Spread and roll 1 pkg of crescent rolls into the bottom of a 9 X 13 pan. Spread and roll the second pkg on wax paper to the same size and set aside.
Mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg yolk, vanilla and spread over the prepared crescent rolls in the pan. Top with cherry pie filling and remaining rolled crescent rolls. Brush with egg white.
Bake 22 minutes until lightly browned. May dust with powdered sugar before serving.
