Preheat oven to 375°. With a blender, cream butter and vanilla. Add sugar, brown sugar, salt and eggs until blended and lumpy (not smooth). Combine flour and baking soda in seperate bowl. Fold by hand the flour mixture into the batter. Fold in in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets (6 per sheet). Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown in the middle rack 1 sheet at a time. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
