Boil karo, sugar and water until spins thread.
This means that when you lift the spoon out of the pot about 12 inches you will see a very thin thread wafting from the spoon.

Add peanuts and cook until turns golden brown.
|
|
|
Remove from fire and add soda and margarine. Beat quickly (it will foam quite a lot) and spread on butter cookie sheet, spreading thin.
