Sift dry ingredients together.
Add butter. Mix into the dry ingredients with the tips of your fingers till dough has a crumbled appearance.
Add milk. Do not mix with your hands or spoon, but use a knife in each hand and cut into the dough till mixed. Do not handle the dough unnecessarily.
Press dough lightly together and roll out on a flat surface that is lightly sprinkle with flour until it is approximately 2 cm high. Use a cookie cutter or glass and press out round scones.
Place on a greased baking plate and bake for 10-12 minute.
