Heat apple juice, raisins, syrup and cinnamon to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat. Simmer until raisins are plump and tender, about 10 minutes.
Mix cornstarch and cold water. Stir into raisin mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Serve with pork or ham.
