2-1/4 c. flour

1 tsp. baking soda
|
|
1 c. butter, softened

1/4 c. granulated sugar

3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla
|

1 pkg. (4-serving size) vanilla instant pudding
|

2 eggs
|

12 oz. chocolate chips
|

1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions |

|
Combine flour and baking soda. In another bowl, combine butter, the sugars, vanilla, and pudding mix. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs.

Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chips and nuts (batter will be stiff).
|
|
|
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

|
For Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies, substitute Chocolate Instant Pudding mix.
