Instructions
Have meat cut in 1-rib lengths. Arrange in one layer in a foil-lined 15x11x2 roasting pan. Roast in preheated 350-deg oven for 30 minutes' remove ribs and pour off fat; return ribs to foil-lined pan.
Stir together sugar, shoyu, and broth until sugar dissolved; add garlic and ginger root; pour over ribs. continue roasting in the 150-deg oven, basting midway, until ribs are tender but firm- 1 hour longer; baste again.
If desired, skim fat from sauce; pour sauce over ribs. Serve with rice.
