Place zucchini in a bowl. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 t salt and let stand 15 minutes. Drain well. Add remaining 1/2 t salt, 1/2 c cheese, and next 7 ingredients.
Fold in egg whites until thoroughly combined. Pour into a lightly greated 10 inch pie plate.
Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
