Cook, rinse, and drain noodles. Melt butter in a skillet. Add garlic and saute 1 minute. Add beef and brown. Drain fat.
Add mushrooms, and next 3 ingredients. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
In a bowl, blend cream cheese and sour cream. Combine meat and cream cheese mixtures. Spread half of noodles in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Top with half of meat mixture.
Repeat layers and top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
