For dressing, zest 1/2 lemon. Squeeze 2 T. lemon juice. Combine these zest and juice with vinegar, splenda, oil and poppy seeds. Whisk until blended. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Score cucumber lengthwise. Remove seeds if you prefer. Cut cucumber in half. Place spinach in large bowl. Add strawberries, onion and cucumbers. Whisk dressing. Pour over salad, gently tossing to coat. Sprinkle with almonds and serve immediately.
