1 lb portobello mushrooms, caps and gills removed, thinly sliced
1 cup tomato sauce
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp fresh oregano, chopped
1/2 tsp hot sauce
3/4 cup water
Instructions
Heat 2 Tbsp oil in large skillet over medium high heat; add garlic, peppers and onion and cook until softened, about 10 minutes; add remaining oil and mushrooks; cook until mushrooms are softened and liquid is absorbed, about 8-10 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring often, until sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper and serve on hamburger buns.
