Combine butter, sugar, syrup in saucepan; stir over medium low heat until butter melts, sugar dissolves and mixture is smooth; add oats and salt; stir until coated.
Transfer mixture to prepared pan and spread to even layer; bake until top is golden and edges are slightly darker, about 25 minutes.
Remove from oven, cool pan on rack 5 minutes; cut into 4 squares and then cut each square into 4 triangles; allow to cool completely in pan (bars will harden as they cool).
