Melt butter, stir in sugar, corn syrup and salt. Stirring constantly bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat.

Stir in baking soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popped popcorn, mixing well.

Place into 2 large shallow pans. Bake at 250 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
|
|
|
Remove from pans (immediately after baking) and pour onto wax paper. Let air dry. Break apart and store in tightly covered container.
