Firstly, score the width of the bread diagonally in several parts.
Take your basil and finley chop it. Also, use a few cloves of garlic and chop this in the same way.
Put the chopped basil, a few sprinkles of garlic and the knob of butter in a bowl and mix it untill you have a paste. Next, put in as much of the paste in each slice a you like.
Cook at 200`C/400`F/Gas Mark 6 for around 10 mins. Once cooked, finally serve.
