Sift together dry ingredients. Combine yolks, milk, and oil; stir into dry ingredients. Fold in whites, leaving a few fluffs. Makes three l0—inch waffles.
Buttermilk waffles- Substitute 2 cups buttermilk for sweet milk. Add 1/2 tsp baking soda and reduce baking powder to 2 tsp. Continue as above.
