Preheat oven 375. Beat butter and sugar together in medium mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, mixing well. Combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt in a seperate mixing bowl.
Add butter mixture to dry mixture in several additions, mixing well with each addition. Stir in cranberries and chocolate. Drop by rounded teaspooonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack.
