Combine crumbs, sugar and butter or margerine and press onto bottom of a 9 in springform pan. Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Blend in chocolate pieces and vanilla. Pour over crust. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 250 and continue baking for 35 more miutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan, cool before removing. Chill.
