2 lg heads romainine lettuce, washed, dried and chopped (about 16c.)
3 lg ripe tomatoes (1 1/2 lb)
1 c. whipped sald dressing (such as miracle whip)
1 tsp salt-free seasoning mix
Instructions
cook bacon in a lg skillet about 6 min, until crispy. Drain on paper towe; crumble when cool.
Place half on the lettuce in a 14 to 16 c. salad or trifle bowl. Sprinkle half of the tomato pieces and half of the crumbled bacon over the lettuce. Press to comress ingredients.
Spread with the half of the salad dressing mix. Sprinkle with half the seasoning mix. Repeat layering with lettuce, tomato (reserving some for garnish) bacon and dressiong. Sprinkle with remaining seasoning and tomoato. Cover and chill for at least 2 hr.
