Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, stir together apples and sugar. Add dry ingredients and stir well. In separage bowl, beat eggs oil and vanilla. Stir egg mixture into apple mixture blending until mixed well. Stir in pecans. Pour into greased 13X9 inch pan. Bake 50 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly pressed. Serve with warm Apple Dessert Sauce or Powdered Sugar glaze.
