MIX together- Sugar, eggs, fruit cocktail w/juice, baking soda, flour. Pour into lightly greased pan. 13 x 9 x 2.
MIX brown sugar and nuts. Sprinkle evenly over batter.
BAKE at 350 for 40 minutes
Icing-
8 tbls butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 cup flaked coconut
In sausepan, COMBINE all except coconut. Bring to a boil and boil two minutes. Remove from heat, stir in coconut. Spoon over hot tornado cake.
