In a double-boiler, slowly bring milk to a boil.
In a glass bowl, mix yolks and sugar until
thickened. Slowly pour in the milk stirring
constantly.

Return to double-boiler and slowly heat until
thickened. (Mixture will stick to back of a spoon
- or 160 degrees after 6 mins) DO NOT BOIL!!
Remove from heat; allow to cool (in fridge if
necessary)

|
When cooled, mix in the heavy cream and vanilla.
Turn on machine; slowly pour in mixture.
|
|
|
Add chips/fruit/anything 5 mins before end of cycle.
