1 10-inch pie shell, prebaked 15 minutes at 350 deg.
5 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups warm milk
Pinch of cornstarch
Grated nutmeg
Instructions
Line pie shell with waxed paper and fill with dried beans or peas (weight down crust). Bake at 350 degree for 15 minutes. Remove paper and beans. Combine eggs, sugar, milk and cornstarch. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 350 degree for 45 minutes to one hour or until custard is set.
