Preheat grill pan or griddle over high hear. Pour vegetable oil into a small saucepan over medium heat. Add red onions and saute for 3-5 mins.
Add vinegar and reduce by half, it should take only 1-2 mins. Add brown sugar and cook 1 min. Whisk in broth, honey mustard, allspice and curry. Bring sauce to a bubble and reduce heat to lowest setting.
Coat chicken with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper. Place chien on hot grill and cook 4-5 mins. Turn. Baste chicken liberally with sauce and cook another 5 mins. Turn again. Baste again.
Continue cooking for 2-3 mins or until chicken is cooked through.
